About CAPS Agility
Canine Agility and performance sports is a brand new outdoor agility facility located in Woodlawn, ON, just west of Ottawa. We will be open May through October, weather permitting.
CAPS has been approved by AAC to run sanctioned agility trials. We will be hosting our first trial on May 31,
2026; and will host 1 AAC Sanctioned trial per month from May through October.
Located on our working family farm, we have a 6-acre (unfenced) area designated to dog sports. We
currently have one sports field 100’x120’, fully fenced with 4’ high 2”x4” fencing. Our plans include
adding more competition size sports fields, and secure training rings.
Although, currently focused on AAC; CAPS does plan to open our facility to other organizations seeking
an outdoor space to host their events.
Our Services
We plan to host agility trials during the summer as well as offer ring rentals to practice your skills in a quiet, safe, fenced-in environment.
We hope to plan classes, seminars, and other events at a later date.
About Us
Rosemary started agility with her border collies Tater & Shae in 2019 and has been hooked ever since. She currently competes actively with Shae in the Veterans division and her two younger dogs, Harper & Jett are training up to become the next generation of CAPS agility dogs.
Rosemary has been active in trialing and competing in both regionals and nationals each year with multiple top 10 placements and continues to learn & grow in the sport of agility.
From the Farm
Wilson Squared Farm
There is a story behind the name! Ask me...
We took over the Wilson family farm in 2005. That year we began planning what became the next 20 years of farming. We started with a small conventional cash crop farm, working ~300 acres (small in comparison to other local farms, but plenty for our family). We grew mostly corn, soybeans and wheat.
In October 2008, we brought home to the farm our first pair of Tibetan yak (Nancy and Charlie). In March 2009, we had our first calf Oliver "Ollie", as we affectionately referred to him (photo), and eventually grew our small herd to 13 animals. We currently have 4 cows (Roxie, Lynn, Minnie, and Nikki), You will see them hanging out in their paddock by the barn.
In 2013, we made the transition to organic cash crop farming, and worked the land to produce organic soybeans, wheat, buckwheat, barley, and other small grains.
Although we have retired from farming, the land is still actively farmed by relatives. You may see them around when you visit.
